2017’s Electronic Entertainment Expo kicks off this week, and gamers are hungry to hear the new releases coming to their favorite console. Every year brings new content to make your purchase more worthwhile, as well as the announcement of brand new IPs and followups to your favorite games and series. As with years past, before the show fully kicks off let’s make some predictions for what we’d love to see come out of this year’s show. (more…)
With 3D gaming fully ushered in, thanks in-part to the N64, Nintendo was ready to start upping their game with their new console. The Gamecube not only looked nicer than the fat N64, it had a much more powerful processor capable of putting more polygons on screen. Basically, the games could look prettier, something that’s been commonplace these past few years among video game console launches. But while the Nintendo 64 was innovative and had a deep library of classics, the Gamecube suffered from a smaller collection of titles and some backlash from longtime Nintendo fans. (more…)

Rather these are the top ten games I actually got around to playing the past year. Here are my top ten games of 2016! (more…)
Zombies, ghouls, ghosts, and of course, vampires.
If you’ve been playing games for any decent amount of time, chances are you’ve at least heard of the Castlevania series of horror-themed action RPGs. With it’s origins dating back to the original NES, and the newest releases still coming steadily (spiritual successors included), it’s hard to think of a game series more fitting for this Halloween season. Appearing on virtually every console, with dozens of heroes, hundreds of villains, and plenty of memories, I wanted to take a look back at the genre defining Castlevania series! (more…)
