The New Legend of Zelda Comic is a Fun Twist on a Classic Game

A brand new Legend of Zelda comic was released last week. Well, not exactly brand new: it’s a re-release of a 12-part saga originally seen in Nintendo Power back in the 90’s. But for the first time in a long time it’s been bound together in a near 200 page full color novel. Based on the Super NES classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and written and drawn by famous manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori, the grand adventure spins the familiar storyline and adds new characters, plot developments, and some lighthearted humor to make the tale unique. Though not as grandiose as the video game it is based on, the comic is still wholly worth your time if you’re a Zelda fan! (more…)

Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds CoverThe Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is widely considered to be one of the mighty Super Nintendo’s greatest games, even thought by some to be the best Zelda game ever made. Yes, surpassing the seemingly god-like Ocarina of Time in popularity and poise. Though it’s been over 20 years since A Link to the Past marveled us, it’s no surprise that Nintendo has decided to revisit that version of Hyrule once again with the 3DS’ Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. With plenty of hype and legacy to live up to, does the Hero of Time stand the test of time yet again with this new adventure? (more…)
