Sunday Roundup: 6/30/13

New Games (6-30-13)Last Thursday was my birthday, and as such I received a few games from family members as gifts (as well as treated myself to a small something). I feel like being a game collector makes things a lot easier on those seeking to give me a present: you pretty much can’t go wrong buying a game or, better yet, gift card. Outside of the birthday happenings, a new game came in for review that I’m anxious to get to, if only I could put down Animal Crossing: New Leaf for more than a minute to play it!

Sunday Roundup: 6/23/13

New Games (6-23-13)

Wow, it’s been quite some time since the last Sunday Roundup! I believe one month might be a record for a draught between entries, but seeing as the last one was extravagant and this one is full of quality games and deals, I think the wait is justified. This week’s games come to us from a dying Blockbuster Video. It’s always sad to see a store closing for good, but honestly I was surprised there were any Blockbuster’s still around. On top of that, this store looked crazy old, like it had been around for decades. Anyway, a few good games this week, and all of them still newish.

Sunday Roundup: 9/9/12

I thought I was working quite a lot lately, so when I finally got a day off I decided I owed it to myself to spend a little bit of this money I was earning. With that in mind I went a few towns over where they have a much nicer mall and shopping experience than my own city and found a few good deals. The best thing of all, aside from finding these games in great condition, was that I got them all for less than $20!

Sunday Roundup: 8/12/12

This might be a record, folks. I don’t think I’ve every purchased this many games in one week. Not only that, but several of these games are highlights. Some are special because they are near and dear to my heart, some are special because they are hard to find gems, and some still are special because I was able to score them for a ridiculously good price. And I bought some crappy games for good measure. Come on, you didn’t think I’d leave you with your mouth hanging open with every game I bought, did you?
