Why suffer like G did when you can play the newest game in the House of the Dead series?
Everyone’s talking about their brand new Nintendo Switch, and here I am getting all excited for the Neo Geo Pocket Color. Granted, I was able to secure a Switch too, but hot damn, a NEO GEO POCKET COLOR! I’ve seriously been yearning for one of these retro handhelds for years, and someone on Craigslist finally let one go for a wonderful price. I picked up games for the system despite not even owning it, but now I’ve finally had a chance to sit down and play what some consider the best (at the time) handheld console out there!
This blog has been relatively quite as of late, but that doesn't mean I've been holding back on anything! Over the past month, we visited a trio of arcades, some…
All the excitement and buildup to the year’s biggest video game show has come and gone, and left in its wake are dozens of new game announcements, trailers, demos, and press conferences. On the whole I felt this year’s E3 dwells in comparisons to last years (which may stem from my Nintendo fandom), but nonetheless there were plenty of great experiences to take away from this years show. Video games aren’t like movies: they can’t be seen and completed in a few short hours (at least most of them). They aren’t as easy to come by in some instances. And sometimes they simply don’t fit into your budget.
For this reason or that, we all have games that we’ve never gotten around to playing. Triple A games, too. The games that may have defined a generation. The games that people are still talking about to this day. The games that you kind of have to just shake your head at when others are discussing around you because you have no idea what is going on.
These are those games. Below you will find the shame of my gaming expertise. These are the games I’ve never played. At least as of yet. (more…)
We’ve all been there: perusing the goods on sites like eBay or maybe even Craigslist and coming across someone selling a collection of games for a decent price. Sure, you probably don’t want all of the games there, but some of them are just too good to pass up! So what should you do? As a collector, video game lots can be a huge win or a very risky and sometimes poor jump to take. Here are some tips to keep in mind when thinking of purchasing video game lots. (more…)

Easily my favorite episode so far! Collecting for the Sega Dreamcast is just plain fun. There are so many unique finds for the system every game you get will be…
