Sunday Roundup: 5/27/12

It’s been a busy week, but not so much in terms of gaming. Scratch that, I’ve actually clocked in quite a bit of time in games this week, but most of that has gone into Diablo III, which is every bit worth my time as anything else.

My sole game purchase this week came in the form of a new game to review. It’s my first movie-based game I’ve had the chance to review. That being said, my expectations weren’t high.

Borderlands is doing it, so why shouldn’t Street Fighter get a huge collector’s edition for gamers to waste spend their money on? Speaking of Capcom, they’ve got a release date for the new Devil May Cry game that is less than a year away.

Not less than a year away? The new XCOM title, which was delayed yet again. Read on to see all of this week’s gaming news highlights.

This Week in Gaming News: 5/12/12 – 5/18/12

Pre-order incentives are supposed make you want the game even more. Gearbox thinks that players of Borderlands 2 will want to put a lot of stuff on their shelves as well as play their game.

And remember when everyone was excited about Diablo III coming out this week? Apparently Blizzard didn’t get the message that people were anticipating this one.

Review: Fable Heroes

When thinking of the Fable series a few elements come to mind: your actions having a great impact on the story; a beautiful, changing world for you to explore and live in; and a satisfying feeling once you’ve completed your epic journey. Now Playing: Fable Heroes

The Fable series of RPGs meets the cute world of… puppets, in Fable Heroes for the Xbox 360. I’ve spent several hours with the game and managed to get through everything the title has to offer, and now I’m here to pass that information on to you.

Sunday Roundup : 4/29/12

A couple of good games this week at the cost of a store. Unfortunately our local Blockbuster video (which was privately owned) has finally closed it’s doors, the last day of sales being Saturday. Everything was on sale, movies, games, fixtures, and even the front desk. Wanting to help and also wanting to snag some games, I went in a bought a few titles this week.
