Today At E3 (Day 1)

The first day of the open convention floor saw a lot of fantastic announcements. On top of that, Nintendo gave a pretty decent press conference, detailing lots of information and games about the upcoming Wii U system (without forgetting it’s new friend, the 3DS either).

Today at E3…

Snoop Dogg created a song about Tekken, and will be featured in a stage in the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate for the 3DS looks like a 3D version of the past 2D games in the series. Thank you, Konami!

Wii U launch title ZombiU is zombie survival at it’s best.

If we’re lucky, there could be a Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy title based on other RPGs, such as Chrono Trigger or Dragon Quest.

The Wii U can indeed use two GamePad controllers, but it’ll drop the framerate down to 30FPS.

An awesome-but-unfortunately-fake trailer for a Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was released.

Portal 2: In Motion will be a DLC package released for the PS3, utilizing the PlayStation Move controller.

A possibly Wario Ware title is in the works for the Wii U, called Game & Wario.

Dead Island: Riptide is coming, and will be a sequel to the original Dead Island.

Paper Mario on the 3DS is all about the stickers!

New Super Mario Bros. 2 on the 3DS is all about the gold!

LEGO City: Undercover for the Wii U looks pretty damn cool.

Scribblenauts Unlimited is coming to the Wii U, and promises to finally tell the story of main character Maxwell.

Another Mario game is coming, this time to the Wii U, called New Super Mario Bros. U.

Pikmin 3 is coming to the Wii U, and will have new Pikmin and multiplayer.

A new trailer was released for fighting game Persona 4: Arena.

These games are coming to Wii U:

Tank! Tank Tank!

Mass Effect 3

Darksiders 2

Rabbids Land

It was an exciting day indeed for gamers again. Let’s see what tomorrow has in store!

Laters,
