Two things I didn’t know about this game: 1) It actually uses the same game engine as the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise, and 2) Activision held a contest to cast the kid skaters in the game! Not only is that a great way to involve the kid skater, but it’s a damn fine game engine as a backbone. While note as long lasting as, say, THPS3, DESA is a great skating game, and much better than Tony’s recent debacles. As a much more approachable version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater for a younger audience, Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure comes, surprisingly, recommended!

Wow, I wouldn’t have guessed that game was going to have so much care put into it, let alone be a competent skating game. Then again, it appears to have Basement Jaxx in the soundtrack!
Haha, yeah. I kind of regret not talking about the soundtrack in the video, but “Where’s Your Head At?” is one of the better songs in the game.
