Kirby Planet Robobot CoverKirby: Planet Robobot
3DS
Release Date: June 10th, 2016
Purchased at: Amazon (Online – $32)

Largely the same game as Kirby: Triple DeluxePlanet Robobot takes Kirby and adds giant mechs. Because why not, I guess? Anyway, Planet Robobot doesn’t seem to be doing anything drastically different with the Kirby formula, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I’ve always thought the franchise has been solid since it’s inception, with some minor snags here or there, and that the core formula of what makes a Kirby game a Kirby game (i.e. Copy abilities, cartoony bright visuals, and a ton of charm) are enough to go on from game to game. There are a few moments so far of greatness and variety, something fans of the series will surely enjoy. Expect a full review soon!
