Left 4 Dead 2 Resident Evil 6 Crossover EllisThe oddest piece of news this weeks reminds me that April Fool’s is right around the corner. Though I’m sure it’s not a prank just yet, a Resident Evil 6 and Left 4 Dead 2 crossover is in the works!

Also this week, Nintendo gets sued and Apollo Justice will be in the next Ace Attorney game. Coincidence that the game will be on the 3DS, the very console Nintendo was sued over? I think it’s a conspiracy…

Nintendo was sued this week for $30 million for infringing on a former Sony employee’s glasses-free 3D used in Nintendo’s 3DS handheld. Just a drop in the bucket for the Big N but that’s still a lot of dough!

Upcoming 3DS title Ace Attorney 5 will not only bring back Phoenix Wright but the up-and-comer Apollo Justice as well! The game’s scheduled to come out in Japan this year, with no other US information available.

In what I’m hoping is not an elaborate early April Fool’s prank, Capcom and Valve have announced a Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 6 crossover project. The completely free update to the PC versions of both games will allow characters from each game to be playable in the opposite game albeit in limited fashion. AWESOME!!

An interesting Pokemon game came up this week, Pokemon Scramble U for the Wii U. It will use the same tech that Skylander’s incorporates to scan physical Pokemon toys to incorporate into the game. No word yet on what the game itself entails.

Saints Row IV was announced for an August 2013 release. It’s worth nothing that the game was being made under Volition, which was sold due to THQ’s bankruptcy.

A HarmoKnight demo dropped this week on the 3DS. The game is a musical infused adventure from the folks at GameFreak, the team behind Nintendo’s Pokemon franchise.
